This week sees the start of the annual QGSSSA Junior Softball season at Windsor’s Downey Park.
31 teams will play across the five divisions on 20, 22, 26 and 28 October.
Parents will be welcome to attend and watch their daughters in action, but must abide by the Association’s COVID Safe Checklist in place.
They are asked to follow entry/exit signs, check in on arrival by using their smartphone camera to scan the supplied QR code at each diamond (or click here to check in on the day) and check out on departure.
Only teams and their coach/school staff will be permitted within the immediate diamond, tent and bench area. Spectators must stay clear of these areas, observe the 1.5m social distancing rule and follow all directions of QGSSSA, St Aidan’s host school and other school staff at all times.
Games start daily at 2:45pm with the second and final round starting at 4:00pm.
Pennants for 9A, 8A, 8B and 7A will be presented following the conclusion of games on Wednesday 28 October after 5:00pm near Diamond 9.
