QGSSSA offers 15 official sports across the year, including Swimming, Athletics, Cross Country, Basketball, Touch Football, Football, Netball, Volleyball, Hockey, Badminton, Cricket, Australian Rules Football, Tennis, Artistic Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics.
Competitions are open to students enrolled at one of the 10 QGSSSA member schools.

Specific information relating to fixture start time, field allocation etc are available from your school sports office.
QGSSSA competitions cater to students from Year 7 to Year 12, with specific divisions depending on the sport.
In the event of cancellations, communication will be provided via your school’s sports department and updated on the QGSSSA website and social media channels where appropriate.
Multiclass events are competitions designed for athletes with disabilities, ensuring a fair and inclusive sporting environment.
Eligibility is based on having a sport classifiable disability and meeting minimum eligibility criteria. A formal classification is required to earn points and placements. A student without classification may still participate; however, competition points and placings cannot be awarded without an official classification.

Visit the Submit Alumni page on the QGSSSA website and submit your details if you have competed, coached or officiated at a senior international level. Past students must have represented their school in QGSSSA sport.
We recognise QGSSSA alumni who have represented at the senior international level as athletes, coaches or officials across all sports.
