Rhythmic Gymnastics Highlighted by Rio Olympian

QGSSSA Gymnasts have a new role model following the 42nd annual QG Meet at Moreton Bay College.

Oceania’s sole Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics representative, Danielle Prince, thrilled the participants and crowd with her ball routine following the conclusion of the QG meet.

The ex MBC and St Aidan’s student remained on site afterwards to present the Open pennants and pose for photos with countless girls, no doubt inspiring prospective Olympians for the future.

The day of Rhythmic Gymnastics saw four schools share in the pennants on offer.

The Open Pairs went to Brisbane State High School, by the slim margin of just 0.05 from Moreton Bay College.

MBC’s Open Group were flawless with their hoop routine, making it six wins in a row.

Their A Grade and Year 7’s were equally as strong, winning their respective divisions.

St Hilda’s took out the B Grade pennant to complete this year’s competition.
